Filtering

Sorted my email last night. My inbox had about 10,000 messages in it, now that's down to 500 after filtering off various mailing lists, people, and stuff. Much faster; mutt with Maildir is slow with huge numbers of messages, I started mutt in my inbox about once a month because of that. And yes, there is a reason I chose Maildir over mbox, I also serve my mail up by IMAP for some unknown reason. I mean will I ever have IMAP and not ssh access?

I checked to see if my new procmail filters were dropping any mail on the floor. This involved accessing mail at uni, where all my mail goes through (for some reason). It seems I couldn't live without Spamassasin any more, I couldn't see the wheat for the chaff in that unfiltered version. Now, to work out how to get mail going via dcs filtered (or stop it going via dcs, grr).
